IT'S OVER!!!

Finally Culinary ends this Thursday, and it ends forever. I managed to transfer out of Culinary 2 and into Advanced Drama, so I finally got out of that class. I will miss certain features about it, although I won't miss the endless cleaning and the druggies, I will miss the people who made the class bearable. I began the class without a friend in the class, and then I found people who I could talk to and hang out with, within a short month. Without them, I don't know what I would've done in that class.
There was irony in that class though. To begin with, my parents spent 60ish dollars to get me into Culinary, for us to clean the kitchen day in and day out, fold laundry, and cater, thus bringing more money flowing into the Culinary department. I think that the we did a grand total of about 10 labs for ourselves and about 20-25 labs for someone else. Seriously, I think that the only thing our 60 dollars went toward was paying for cleaning supplies, because we seemed to use a lot of those. For example, every kitchen had a deep-fat-fryer, which we never used, but we sure learned how to clean, along with a griddle, and a salamander. It was ridiculous. The things I learned from that class were how to clean an industrial kitchen, and how to sweep, mop, fold laundry, and do dishes...
If it hadn't been for the friends I met, that class would have been a total waste of my time.
