HOMECOMING!!

So last Saturday was my Junior Homecoming, and I had a complete blast!!! I was asked by my friend Rachel (who is not a Mormon), to attend the school Homecoming, but we negotiated a little and decided that we would hit both the Mormon Homecoming and the school one, since they were both the same night. I went picked her up at 4:45, so we could go get our pictures taken. We actually got to have our pictures taken at the biggest house I have ever seen in my life. It was a GIGANTIC white house, with this huge white staircase leading up to the front door, which was ideal to have all of our pictures posed on. We spent an hour there, and by the end of that hour, our group probably consisted of TWENTY couples (at least), plus some people who were going to Homecoming on their own!! It was amazing!!! After that we ran over to an Italian Restaurant for dinner, and had a great time there. We split up into groups of ten, and my group was definately the best. Everyone from the other two groups kept dropping by to talk to us, because we were just so cool (actually, mainly because they were all friends with Rachel, I barely knew any of them, since they were all seniors). Then after the dance we drove over to the school, only to realize that we had forgotten the tickets!! We ran back to her house to pick them up, but by the time we had gotten to her house, and back to the road school is on, we realized we could have more dance time if we went to the Mormon Homecoming and then the school one, because the Mormon one ended earlier. When we got to the Mormon one, we had a total blast!! We stayed for the entire dance, and Rachel said that she had had the best possible Homecoming that she could have had. We skipped out entirely on the school Homecoming (because all her friends had left by the time we left the church), and I dropped her off back at her house. It was a total blast! The funniest moments were when people at the Mormon Homecoming would ask me what ward she was in, because she had 'Mormon safed' her dressed (pinned up the front, and thrown on a jacket for the Mormon Homecoming). She also told me to keep her updated on dates of Mormon dances, which means I have two honorary Mormon friends who LOVE youth dances!!

So why is it my job to invite people to things? You have just as much ability to do so.
